PARTY MODE ON

Dip Mondays in glitter? We'd dip every day in glitter if we could!

We spent the weekend getting our #PartyModeOn with Ego. One of the best things about the festive season is Christmas nights out. Getting glammed up and adding a touch of sparkle to every outfit becomes the norm and a night out doesn't end until you're belting out Mariah Carey...

We decided to shimmer up our sleek satin OTK's from our ultimate fave shoe bae EGO. I (Amy) am loving the slip dress over t-shirt trend and when I saw this combined dress in Zara I knew I N E E D E D it! The perfect shape and length to style with my Hailey lace up booties. I love that these are so sexy yet practical and could jazz up any outfit!

Melisa killed it in total super hero vibes with her Poppy navy satin knee highs and red mini skort  Festive vibes or what?! Slogan tees with glitter are a hell yeah from us - any day, any outfit. And our outfits totally compliment each other, bestie vibezzzzz!

Ego have completely outdone themselves this season with fabulous festive footwear. Our party mode is without a doubt on!

What do you style with your over the knees?

FEELIN' BOOTY-FUL

Do you really live in Scotland if you don’t own a pair of killer black ankle boots?!

This week we ventured into town to start the Christmas shopping (E X C I T E D!) and apart from the mistake of getting legs out and attempting a ripped tee, our feet were on fleek with our new Quanticlo booties.

Ankle boots like these are hands down the most staple piece you need in your wardrobe as they can be styled with almost anything, they are sensible, sassy and a little heel goes a long way. For our short legs anyway…

I (Amy) styled these oh so yeezy black ‘Kendall’ sock boots with the cosiest oversized knit tucked into the ultimate buckled leather skirt from Missguided, probably the hottest skirt I’ve come across in a while. Obsessed! I love how the metal detailing within the skirt and the hoops on the jumper bring a lil bitta edge to my look. Topping it off, there’s of course gotta be a pair of sunnies to slay in the winter sun…

Melisa went for the black leather ‘Joanne’ ankle boots that have the most amazing silver heel on them. Work those angles gurl! Street stylin’ to the maxxxx, she worked the casual vibes in her black lace up joggers (bye Felicia to all basic joggers out there…) and grey ripped tee from Missguided. As you may have guessed, we HAD TO go a lil crazy in their Black Friday sale, ‘cos who doesn’t love a bargain?!

There’s no doubt we will be styling these booty-ful Quanticlo numbers up every week this season! What’s your fave kinda boot this season?

Speak soon gals,

TBOB xoxo

VELVET CRUSHIN'

Let's be honest, every gal needs a bit of velvet in their wardrobes this season. It's stylish, textured and oh so cosy... (NEEDED in Glasgow rn)

It's no longer the gothic fabric or the sight of your grannies house, but instead seen on across the catwalks and in every fast fashion store. It's crazy how times and trends can change, but we're luvvvvin it!

After a long time dreaming over E V E R Y T H I N G at Lasula, we picked the perfect winter pieces to create a killer look this season. I (Amy) opted for pretty in pink with Lasula's 'Long Over You' sweatshirt. I'm totally obsessed with oversized jumpers this season, they are the ultimate wardrobe must-have to keep ya warm and would look amazing paired with some OTK's. I went with the 'padded to perfection' look with this un-reeeeal black puffer jacket which I know I'll never take off (maybe until summer) and belted fedora for dem chic vibes.

One thing we've learned in the past few months is that a girl can never have enough chokers... This black belted choker is the perfect accessory for any outfit. And, THE BAG! The bag, the bag, the bag. If I lay my eyes on anything that's fluffy and colourful, I can't stop dreaming about it until it's m i n e. Obsessed - Lasula, you've found my heart.

It wouldn't be Two Blondes One Blog without a lil' bitta twinning goals. Melisa slays all day in her charcoal velvet jumper dress and braids that have King Kylie written all over them. Being oh so bomb, Melisa layered in her 'Pick of The Bunch' embroidered velvet bomber jacket. Velvet on velvet - its a big yes from us!

I don't think we've seen a nude choker as amazing as this, so Melisa knew she had to snap this one up in a heartbeat. Workin' the winter sun is SOOO underestimated, and there ain't nothing wrong with a pair of killer sunnies in November...even if there's no sun (gutted).

P.S. have you ever seen two pairs of shoes match so perfectly with an outfit?! Our brand new Essex Shoes velvet heels are the most comfortable, sassy, amazing things we've ever owned, making us feel so Essex glam. Oh and so affordable...

To make this outfit even better than we imagined, you can get 15% off everything at Lasula using code: TWOBLONDES15.

What are you styling your velvet pieces with this season?

Lots of love,

TBOB xoxo

Winter Biz With Quiz

A girly weekend is always the best weekend...

It's not often that we get to relax, pamper and have some gal time - so we decided to dedicate last weekend to it. It started on Friday night with a browse round Glasgow Fort, a much earned Starbucks Fudge Hot Chocolate (which is amaaaaazing!), a Lush seaweed face mask and movies in bed. After outfit planning for Saturday, and moaning at how white we were in winter, of course we decided to get a Fake Bake Darker spray tan at midnight. Better late than never eh... Can we be this bronzed all the time?!

Our Saturday stylin' was a very smart chic look - with a black base and of course, lots of fabulous accessories to jazz it up. I (Amy) chose the most fabulous black jumper from Quiz, I'm sure we can all agree at how amazing their AW16 collection is right now?! I couldn't get enough of the flowing chiffon hem, and you can only imagine me running around in the wind pretending it was a cape... I partnered this with a sexy lil' black leather skirt, tucking the front of the jumper in to show the zip detailing.

Accessorising it up, I added my new silver coin choker from Quiz which worked perfectly with the silver detailing in this Stella McCartney dupe (bag of dreams) and my brand new metallic ankle booties which I am OBSESSED with! Adding a little rock vibe to the look, I kept warm in this red leather which is oh so Christmassy.

As always, coordination is key when it comes to posing with your bestie! Melisa had chose this beaut silver and black top also from Quiz - we are loving the metallic madness this winter. She had also picked up a black mini skirt which was half leather and half suede - such an amazing contrast. Rocking biker chic, Melisa added a fringed leather belt to give some extra sass, along with the perfect grey fedora and H&M sunnies - which were only £1 in their sale - BARGAIN! After our shopping trip on Friday night, I don't think it was possible for Melisa to leave Zara without picking up these perfect patent red booties - Mrs Claus who?!

What's your favourite piece from Quiz's new collection?

Speak soon baes,

Booty Season

November can only mean one thing - time to get those OTK babies out!

A/W is our favourite season, purely because we have a reason to go boot crazy and buy every jacket in sight... This week, Melisa and I (Amy) picked some killer thigh highs from the footwear queens at Ego.

*look lovingly into each others eyes

I picked their brand new 'Lily' denim boots knowing that the styling would be endless. Double denim. Triple denim. Quadruple denim. Is that allowed?! No matter what season, printed tees are a yes from us to conquer that rock chic. I paired this PLT oversized tee with a handmade lace choker (lace trimmings from a haberdashery - BARGAIN), La Moda sunnies and my beaut new Kartel watch.

Melisa slayed all day long with the fur coat of D R E A M Z - again, Pretty Little Thing. Ever since we bought their free next day delivery for a year we have been completely hooked... She also had serious pin goals in her 'Anya' beige Ego OTK's which had Yeezy vibes written all over them. Ego have completely blown us away with their new AW16 range and all of their long boots are for sure at the top of our Santa lists this year. We're so excited to be part of the #EGOSQUAD!

Finishing off the look Melisa killed it in a basic camel bodysuit, Topshop Joni jeans, her matching Kartel watch and another handmade choker. (This one was cut from a pair of old jeans - vintage eh?!)

What's your favourite A/W piece?

Lots of love,

TBOB xo

Casual Autumn'slayyyyy

Reunited and it feels sooooo good...

It's been hectic to say the least. From both settling in to new jobs, to a summer of holiyaying at separate times, to a few cases of the killer cold. But - we're back to our old posing ways and we couldn't be happier.

Trying to remember how to do that typical blogger pose was hard, but after a few p*ss takes, growlers and glares, laughing shots and resting bitch faces we eventually got there in the end. Last week, both Melisa and I treated ourselves to some new pieces from our faves at Missguided. I feel like the babes at MG have completely upped their game again, the brand just seems to be getting sassier and sassier. No matter what the occasion, I can always trust a little visit to their new in section to pick myself the perfect outfit. (S K I N T!!)

I'm totally obsessing over the whole layering looks going around, so I decided to style up this little leather dress with sheer white crop (included) with a little snake skin biker jacket. Monochrome vibes can never go wrong! Accessorising, I laced up these cute chunkies that we picked up in La Moda's summer sale and moon choker from Pretty Little Thing. Chokers are everything right now - the best accessory to finish off any look!

Melisa mixed the sass and the class with this little shirt dress from Missguided, and of course added our trusty buckle belt to pinch her in at the waist and show those curves. Hitting the winter season, jackets are becoming a huge obsession for us! Melisa added her duster of dreams to give this dress a chic little finish. Oh, and since it's technically winter now that's the perfect excuse to get her Stuart Weitzman OTK babies back out...

Glad to be back gals, we can't wait to show you what else is in our AW16 wardrobe!

Lots of love,

TBOB xoxo
