Lily And Rose

As typical women, when we have a big GNO planned or some glamorous event to go to, EVERY detail matters - its in our nature after all! It's not just about picking out that perfect dress, or having that cinderella moment when we slip on our favourite shoes. It's about all those tiny details that are going to make us feel that little bit extra special on the night.

Combing romance and elegant-chic, the Lily and Rose jewellery collection consists of some of the most stunning pieces which are destined to make you feel like a goddess. Uniquely crafted with colourful Swarovski crystals, the multi-faceted earrings reflect the light beautifully and project a vintage feel. We love to make a statement, but theres nothing worse than going over-board, these earrings are perfectly proportioned to give you that added WOW and still look sophisticated. Amy opted for these gorgeous silverly-nude Kate - Silk earrings, and I (Melisa) chose the Miss Kate - Vintage Rose gold earrings which incorporate a pop of turquoise. We feel these pieces are so versatile, not only are they fabulous for evening-wear but we can't wait to take them on holiday with us. I already have this vision of myself with my sun-kissed skin, fashioning a white figure-hugging dress and wearing these beaut babies.

Obviously it would be silly not to pick up the matching rings as well. Amy paired her earrings with the Sofia - Silk ring and I picked out the Miranda - Rose Water Opal open - piece ring. Together these sets are absolutely to die for, but these rings are also ideal for everyday wear.

Offering brass, silver and gold-plated earrings which are decorated with colourful jewels, we feel the Lily and Rose collection has something for everyones skin tone. Although Lily and Rose is a Swedish brand, their website ships worldwide so we will luckily never have to hunt elsewhere for such heavenly pieces. Also if any of your guys are in London be sure to check out there POP up store at 340 King's Road.

Thank you Lily and Rose for our beautiful gifts!

Dare to Flare

'Show me nudes'... Eh no not that kind! For us gals, we have re-invented this naughty phrase and created a neutral based look. Justification - it's finally April and spring has sprung! (how much has this year flew in?!). As the blossoming spring collections have hit the stores, we decided it was time to ditch the darks and treat ourselves to some summer palettes. Nudes? That's going straight in our basket. To celebrate the start of the season, we decided to head out on Saturday for some girly lunchin' in Ashton Lane - which we think could possibly be the most beautiful/cultural street in Glasgow. Now, to the clothes...

I (Amy) am so seasonal orientated when it comes to fashion. In Autumn/Winter you'll spot me in all black everything, whereas I take full advantage of the beautiful neutral tones in Spring/Summer. When I spotted this white culotte style jumpsuit on Missguided (my one and only) I knew that this was the perfect piece to set the tone for my spring wardrobe, whilst keeping cosy throughout the damp and dull Glasgow days.
As well as looking chic, this sports luxe style is the most comfortable piece, and can be easily dressed up with a statement clutch and heels, or keeping it casual with some kicks. For this neutral look, I decided to style the ribbed jumpsuit with my nude leather booties from Zara. At first, I wasn't sure how much I would actually wear nude ankle boots, but I can honestly say I've not had them off since I bought them last month. Finishing the look off, I added these 'Paradise' (the name says it all) rose gold sunnies from Lamoda. For a while I considered buying the Dior sunglasses, but after seeing these dupes at only £9.99, who needs designer?!

Melisa decided to head out channeling the Kim K vibes, and with us working our asses off in the gym, the booty did not fail to impress in these wide leg camel trousers from Missguided. Keeping up with the Kardashians, Melisa paired the flares with the cutest baby pink roll neck crop from 24 Carat Clothing. I still can't get enough of this look; so sleek and sassy. Melisa also finished her look off with a pair of black cat-eye Lamoda sunnies. I find this shape so flattering, while giving the ultimate sunglass diva effect!

How will you 'expose your nudes' this season?

Lots of love,

TBOB xoxo
