In terms of music taste, I am the most varied person on earth - from Spotify's trusty #ThrowBackThursday playlist, to Beyonce and Bob Marley - so I was totally open to something a little different at Eden. I dedicated Friday night to getting #FestiGlam with Fake Bake. We were luckily given their full Beyond Bronze range to try - as they are taking over festival season this summer! I decided to bronze it up with their Self-Tan Spritzer, which for such an affordable price has such an amazing quality of product. And not to mention that all of their packaging is pink - LOVE! Waking up like a glowing goddess yesterday morning, I decided to pack my instant shimmer in a medium shade, so that I could do any topping up at the festival if I needed to, and obviously because you can't go wrong with a little shimmer at a festival...
Since metallic is totally back, I decided to style up my knitted maxi dress knowing this would take me from day to night. I actually bought this piece to wear at a pool party in Marbella and ended up not wearing it, so I knew it would be perfect to pull out for some festi-stylin'! You may have taken the hint that I'm a little crazy for 'underwear as outerwear', so instead of putting on a typical necklace, I decided to show a little lace in this stunning Ultimo bra.
Adding a lil extra touch of glam, I paired this look with my staple black fedora, black studded booties and Michael Kors bag which I can't get enough of right now - the colour goes perfectly with everything in my wardrobe! Confession - I couldn't find a tight pair of black shorts to wear under this dress so I decided to pop on my Nike Pro gym shorts - embarrassing I know, but we all go to some crazy lengths to get those outfits on point...
Finally arriving at Eden, I was invited into the press area where I was told about all the history, and activities that are taking place at Eden. I was blown away by the amount of events - from meditation to arts and crafts to techno tents. Mental, I know! I discovered the cutest little drive-in movie area, where vintage cars parked up to watch movies as the sun sets, adorable.
There was such a chilled atmosphere across the full festival, with some absolutely beautiful grounds, decor, and not to mention food! I tried my first ever Chipstick and it tasted as good as it looks.
Eden had some serious hippie vibes, with lots of wacky fluorescent and floral prints. I may have been slightly on the glam side for the event, but that's what I love so who's caring!
Are you heading to any festivals?
Lots of love,
Amy xoxo
PS - excuse the 'hands up in the air' pose, I was way too embarrassed to strike the usual blog poses in front of drunk hippies...
